Ronnie Rage [@ronniexrage] Debuts Visual for "How It Be"
RONNIE RAGE // “HOW IT BE”
SHOT/EDITED BY: X RAY PRODUCTIONS
Chicago rapper, Ronnie Rage, is has released a lively visual for his new Nabuddah produced track, “How It Be”. Capturing the rapper boolin’ around a Walmart with his crew while most of the rapping is shot outside in the snow, X-Ray Productions did an excellent job capturing the bouncing energy that’s prevalent on this track. The bit in the middle with a pissed off Walmart employee kicking the crew out really helped authenticate the rowdy vibes that they’re trying to get across while they’re jetting down the aisles in carts and, as an added bonus, legitimately made me laugh. The track itself is vivacious in its energy and braggadocious in subject matter. The production gives off a west coast retro with the whining synth that’s modernized with the upbeat, shuffling percussion. The lyrics are nothing to write home about, but they accomplish the vibe that Ronnie sets out for without being too overdone or cliché and the song itself is short enough that the unchanging beat and straightforward cadence never become droning. Definitely check out Ronnie Rage’s latest and let us know what you think.
